The City of Markham will be replacing CSP Culverts at various locations, including Reesor Road, between Elgin Mills Rd and 19th Ave.

This project is part of the City’s bridges and culverts improvement program to systemically rehabilitate or replace the aged and deficient structures in order to improve their safety and reliability.

The construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 28, 2021, and is expected to be completed by September 15, 2021, weather permitting.

Please note that during the construction, sections of Reesor Rd. between Elgin Mills Rd and 19th Ave need to be will be CLOSED for through traffic. The dates for this closure are scheduled to be July 19 to July 23, 2021

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes (see key map below).

The Contractor for this project is Safa Builders & Contractors.

While there will be some inconvenience to the residents who use this road regularly, the Contractor and the City staff will work together to complete the project as early as possible. All areas disturbed during construction will be restored to their original conditions.
