Special Advisors to Meet with Local Individuals and Organizations
The Ontario government is putting people first by providing another opportunity for local input on how to improve governance, decision-making and service delivery for regional governments and regional municipalities. Our government wants to make sure that the experience of real people is front of mind in every decision we make.
Those who live and work in communities covered by the province’s review can register online starting April 3, 2019 to make presentations to the Special Advisors – Michael Fenn and Ken Seiling – who will assess the feedback and provide their advice and recommendations to Minister Clark this summer.
“Our government is working for all Ontarians. We are committed to providing taxpayers with efficient and effective service delivery that shows respect for their hard-earned dollars,” said Steve Clark, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. “It’s important to me that the people who live, work and spend time in the municipalities covered by the review can share their thoughts on how we can improve regional governance.”
Ontario’s government is working for the people to deliver better public services and finding ways to make better use of taxpayers’ dollars. No matter what the service, regulation, program, process or policy, we ask ourselves how the people will benefit.

- You can also submit your comments through the online survey, which is open until May 21, 2019.
- Meetings will be held in the eight regional municipalities covered by the review (Halton, York, Durham, Waterloo, Niagara, Peel, Muskoka District, and Oxford County) and in Simcoe County.
