York Regional Police are investigating two warm-up car thefts from the morning of Oct. 23 in Markham and Vaughan. The first theft took place early in the morning at around 6:31 a.m. A white Hyundai Tucsan was stolen from the area of Linden Lea Street in Markham, Const. Andy Pattenden said. City of Markham: Markham Tackles Textiles wins the Peter J. Marshall award- THANK YOU RESIDENTS FOR RECYCLING YOUR TEXTILES! Markham is receiving the award for its textile recycling program. The initiative is aimed at reducing the number of textiles going to landfill and the unregulated “used clothing” bins.
