Every day I hear from residents about drivers texting, speeding, and running through stop signs in our neighbourhoods.
With playgrounds open, families out walking more, and school around the corner, we need to make an effort to drive with extra care and slow down. Police are out there enforcing road safety, but there are hundreds of streets in Ward 5 and they can’t be everywhere at one time. Residents can help too, by marking down license plates if we see someone driving dangerously, and reporting it to the ROADWATCH program.
