Proposal:

An ePLAN submission for a Major Official Plan and a Major Zoning Amendment has been received from Green City Development Group Inc.(Michael Walker) for Bur Oak Avenue. The subject lands are located south of Church Street and west of Cornell Centre Boulevard. The applicant is proposing to redevelop the lands with a multi-phase mixed use development consisting of approximately 1,066 dwelling units and approximately 2,977 square metres (+/- 32,044 square feet) of non-residential uses. The proposed unit mix is contemplated to consist of 318 townhouse dwellings, and 748 apartment/seniors’ residence units within two 13-storey buildings. The proposal will realize the extension of 4 new public rights of way, bisecting the property and providing connections aligned with the adjacent street network, as well as 0.57 hectares (1.41 acres) of new public parkland, and 0.07 hectares (0.17 acres) of private outdoor amenity area.
