Markham 2023 Budget Consultation is Underway

The City of Markham has begun the Committee work and public consultation phase of preparing the 2023 Annual Budget. Compost Giveaway 2022 Residents can register for two free bags of garden-friendly compost made from last year’s collected leaf and yard material. As Councillor of Ward 5, I am as disappointed as the residents with the delay in reopening of the Cornell Community Centre Fitness Centre and the opening of the new large Community Park. COVID delays aside, there have been a number of challenges which have caused the extra delay. While the animals generally avoid direct human contact, they occasionally wander into residential areas.
